Welcome to Terrell Municipal Airport
Terrell Municipal Airport is a public access airport owned by the City of Terrell with a wide range of services for commercial and private aviation within Class G airspace. At the junction of I-20, US Hwy 80, and SH 34 the airport is easily accessible from east Texas and the Dallas metroplex without the air traffic and congestion of metroplex airports.
The adjacent Airport Industrial Park is home to a diverse corporate community, including several Fortune 500 companies. Lodging, dining, shopping, and recreational activities offer a wide range of amenities for visitors.
The airport provides facilities for corporate aviation, recreational flying, flight training, and aerial inspections. The city hosts an annual fly-in at the airport.
Aircraft operations, including local general aviation, transient general aviation, and air taxi, average 70 per day. The airport operates one asphalt runway, 17/35, which is 5,006 feet long and 75 feet wide.
Terrell Aviation, the fixed based operator (FBO), handles all airport operations during normal business hours. The Terrell Airport Board and city administration oversee airport infrastructure and systems.
We look forward to serving you.
